Hi,
One of our blog reader shared the book which will be very useful for your life & the same want to share with you folks.
Here are some tips for all the trainers out there!
You may be an on the job trainer, teach in a Tafe or perhaps you work for a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) like us. Below are some tips that have been devised by our very own trainers who deliver training to individuals and groups of people frequently.
Tip #1 Preparation- is the key to delivering successful training sessions in terms of learning the content, the way you structure the training, present the material and the activities you include. The more preparation you put in, the more confidence you will have when delivering the training.
Tip #2 Making people feel comfortable- the best thing to do if you are training a new group of people is to use ice breakers at the start of the session. Doing things like splitting people up into pairs and giving them a list of questions to ask one another, gives people the opportunity to interact and feel more at ease.
You can have set questions for people to ask, even fun ones like what is your favourite food? Or where is your favourite place in the world? Things that will spark conversation, people like finding common ground and feel comfortable when they know who they are learning with. It’s great to do a few ice breakers throughout the training too as it breaks up the learning and is also great for when a trainer wants to start discussions, people will input more ideas and speak freely when they are comfortable with each other.
